Following his military service, Mr. Dwin achieved his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is currently permitted to practice law in Maryland, the United States District Court, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Dwin was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Baltimore School of Law for fifteen years. He taught Trial Practice and Interview of Counseling and Negotiating.. Organizational Involvement. Mr. Dwin is active in many legal organizations, including the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, Baltimore City Bar Association, Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation.. He has served as President for the ACLU of Maryland, President of Baltimore Ostomy Association, Board Member for OPSAIL Baltimore, and Founding Board Member of the National Aquarium of Baltimore.. Career Notes. Mr. Dwin has successfully handled hundreds of civil and criminal trials. He began his legal career working as a Probation Officer managing child support cases for the Baltimore City Circuit Court. He worked as an insurance investigator, claims adjuster, and claims supervisor. He has been representing clients in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, criminal cases, and general litigation since 1968. From 1972 -1978, he served as Assistant Public Defender at all levels of the criminal court system in Maryland on both jury and non-jury trials..
