I have practiced law in several jurisdictions including Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.  I focus my practice on helping families through difficult periods.  I have extensive experience in family law, juvenile law and crimnal law.  I have tried numerous jury trials as well as bench trials.  My experience as a former public defender enables me to evaluate cases and advise clients on the best avenue to pursue their matters.. Since I have had extensive exposure to the military, I am skilled at guiding both service members and military dependents through the process of a separation, divorce or custody proceeding.  While living Naples Italy from 1998 to  2001, I was an adjunct professor for the University of Maryland University College..
