I started my legal career after leaving the consumer banking industry and graduating law school as a hearing officer for the state of Tennessee. I presided over the TennCare disenrollment process to ensure due process was given to all the citizens of Tennessee the state was attempting to disenroll from TennCare. I transititoned to a second government attorney position within the state of Tennessee serving as an Assistant District Attorney General in Shelby County appointed by William Gibbons. I left the DA's office in 2007 and went into private practice. I have successfully practiced my negotion skills and complex trial tactics in the state and federal courts throughout Tennessee. I believe in putting clients in a better position when I leave them than they were in when I first met them. Whether it is a criminal case or DUI in which we are fighting against an overzealous prosecution or if we are advocating for an injured client against an insurance company, it is my goal to treat the client with the dignity and respect I would expect to receive if I was in his or her shoes.
