Ms. Rahgozar is an attorney and founding partner of the Rahgozar Law Firm.  She holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  She holds a  Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center.  During her time at the University of Houston Law Center, her concentrations included:  Immigration and Business, Contracts, Real Estate Transactions, Oil and Gas, and Employment and Labor Law.  She is authorized to practice law before all Texas courts by the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Rahgozar has successfully represented clients in various corporate transactions and immigration matters.  During her time at the University of Houston Law Center, Ms.  Rahgozar was a member of the Joseph A. Vail Immigration Clinic where she represented clients in many complex cases in the area of Defensive Asylum and Cancellation of Removal before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR).  While in the Immigration Clinic, Ms. Rahgozar drafted and submitted motions before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).  She has also assisted clients with processing Affirmative Asylum, Withholding of Removal, Special Immigrant Juvenile, U-Visa and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) cases before various governmental agencies.  Additionally, Ms. Rahgozar's professional work experience includes presenting family and employment-based petitions (immigrant and nonimmigrant cases) before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), the National Visa Center (NVC), various U.S. Embassies abroad, and the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Rahgozar served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice Tracy Christopher of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas.  She also gained experience as a Law Clerk, doing compliance work for the Office of the General Counsel of the University of Houston Systems.  Additionally, Ms. Rahgozar is also fluent in Farsi (Persian).
