While working toward his law degree, Michael worked as an intern with the Harris County District Attorney’s office. Michael also participated in South Texas College of Law’s Advocacy Program, winning best speaker in 2009’s Intramural Competition, and competing for the school nationally.. Michael graduated from South Texas College of Law in May 2010 and was admitted to practice in the State of Texas in November 2010. Michael has spoken to various groups on topics related to estate planning, estate administration, and fiduciary litigation.. A native Houstonian, Michael is married to Eileen Romero, a teacher at Yes Prep Southeast. Michael and Eileen are parents to Joseph Michael Galligan, born June 14, 2011.
