Vijay spent his formative years on Long Island until his parents relocated to Huntsville, Alabama. In 1993, Vijay graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and then went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Vijay also holds a Masters degree from the University of Texas School of Public Health and a Biology degree from the University of Houston. He has been a licensed Real Estate Agent for more than 8 years. Vijay is a past President, Secretary and Treasurer of the South Asian American Bar Association of Houston. Moreover, he is active in many community and professional activities.
