About Phillip George
Phil George is a proud son of the Pacific Northwest, deeply connected to the needs of Washington families. Raised in the logging communities of western Washington and southeast Alaska, Phil learned the values of hard work and community from his father, a log scaler, and his mother, a fifth-grade teacher.. After graduating from Everett High School (Go Seagulls!), Phil earned his undergraduate degree from Western Washington University and began his career at Boeing’s Everett facility as an Industrial Engineer. However, his passion for helping others and a desire to make a greater impact led him to pursue a career in law.. In 2011, Phil left Boeing to enroll at the University of Washington School of Law. While there, he trained under one of the state's top Elder Law attorneys, gaining expertise in estate and retirement planning. Phil’s dedication to empowering families inspired him to become a community leader on end-of-life and retirement issues.. Phil serves on the Board of Directors for the Whatcom Hospice Foundation and the Advisory Committee for the Bellingham Senior Activity Center. He also hosts The Aging Hour, a weekly radio show providing insights and advice on achieving a secure and fulfilling retirement.. As the founder of Safe Harbor Legal Solutions, Phil returned to Whatcom County with a mission: to help families navigate the complexities of retirement and estate planning. With a personalized, comprehensive approach, Phil and his team ensure that each client’s unique needs and dreams are at the center of their planning process.. When you work with Phil, you’re not just preparing for the future—you’re building peace of mind for the journey ahead.
