After graduating from Everett High School (Go Seagulls!), Phil earned his undergraduate degree from Western Washington University and began his career at Boeing’s Everett facility as an Industrial Engineer. However, his passion for helping others and a desire to make a greater impact led him to pursue a career in law.. In 2011, Phil left Boeing to enroll at the University of Washington School of Law. While there, he trained under one of the state's top Elder Law attorneys, gaining expertise in estate and retirement planning. Phil serves on the Board of Directors for the Whatcom Hospice Foundation and the Advisory Committee for the Bellingham Senior Activity Center. He also hosts The Aging Hour, a weekly radio show providing insights and advice on achieving a secure and fulfilling retirement..
