She obtained her Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, where she was elected Vice President of the Domestic Violence Task Force. Ms. Zafur also served as Associate Editor to the Buffalo Journal of Gender Law & Social Policy, and was selected to participate on the SUNY Buffalo Law National Trial Team. Ms. Zafur also served as a legal intern for the Honorable Barbara Howe of Erie County Surrogate’s Court.. Ms. Zafur is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. She is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the Minority Bar Association of Western New York.
