Before opening his own firm, Jon worked five years for a large St. Louis-based litigation firm, where he focused on defending medical malpractice clients including doctors, hospitals, nurses, and nursing homes; defending products liability clients including automobile manufacturers, toy companies, and industrial part manufacturers, and litigating other forms of personal injury cases including catastrophic automobile accidents.. F. Cottey Award for Excellence in Oral & Written Advocacy, the William M. Howard Award for Best Work in Legal Research & Writing, and the Thomas E. Deacy, Jr. Prize in Advocacy. He earned his MBA from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2000 after completing an International Business residency in China.
