Daniel graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Daniel served on the Editorial Board of the South Carolina Law Review and received the CALI Award for Legal Drafting.. After graduating law school and practicing in South Carolina, most recently as a partner with a litigation defense firm in Columbia, Daniel joined our Asheville office as a partner, and his primary area of practice continues to be workers' compensation defense. He is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina.. Daniel was designated a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified by the International Commission on Health Care Certification. He was certified as a Circuit Court Mediator by the South Carolina Board of Arbitrator and Mediator Certification..
