Mr. Halvorsen is active in the Las Vegas Chapter of the CEO – CFO Group and is a regular attendee at the local chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.. In 2007, Mr. Halvorsen published an article in the Communique, the Clark County Bar Association publication, about changes in Nevada's resident agent law. Also in 2007, Mr. Halvorsen received an Award of Merit from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for his work on a child custody matter.
