After earning his law degree from The Ohio State University and practicing in Columbus, Ohio, Adam returned to Michigan and joined Drew, Cooper & Anding in 2008. He was named Partner in 2011. A historic settlement was reached with MSU for $500 million. Mr. Sturdivant was also co-counsel in Theresa Waldo v. Consumers Energy 1:06 –cv-00768 (2010), a sexual harassment/hostile work environment case in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan. This jury trial returned a verdict of $7.9 Million for the plaintiff.
