Samuel is a passionate attorney who truly cares about his clients.  His dedication makes him an excellent advocate in the courtroom.  Samuel believes the key to effective representation is being prepared, and that means getting to know his clients and their case.. Samuel graduated from Oakland University in 2011, with a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. He earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2014. During his time at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Samuel earned the Certificate of Merit in Trial Skills, which is awarded to the highest performing student. The following term Sam served as a teaching assistant, aiding students with trial preparation and strategy. He was also selected as a member of the National Mock Trial team for Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2014.. Samuel started his professional career as an intern in the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. He was assigned to the Child Abuse Unit and worked primarily on cases that involved sex offenses against children. As his focus at The Bennett Law Firm, PLC, this provides him with incredible insight into how prosecutors handle these types of cases.  This is an incredibly sensitive area of the law and Samuel has what it takes to make you feel comfortable every step of the way.. Samuel represents individuals charged with misdemeanors and felonies throughout the State of Michigan, from Detroit to Grand Rapids, and Ferndale to Traverse City.  In 2017 and 2018, he was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Stars attorney, which is only awarded the top 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Michigan..
