Chris Phipps is an associate in the firm's Reno office. Mr. Phipps was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1989 and to the District of Columbia Bar in 1990. Initially, Mr. Phipps worked in Las Vegas as an attorney for the Executive Committee of Plaintiffs, The Subrogated Carriers on the mass-tort case In re: May 4, 1988 Fire Litigation involving the PEPCON fire and explosion in Henderson, Nevada. He later worked as insurance defense counsel for numerous carriers defending automobile, premises, professional lines, and construction defect claims. In 2000, Mr. Phipps relocated to Reno where, for the last seven years before joining the firm, he practiced as plaintiff's counsel in the areas of auto, premises, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and workers compensation claims..
