I am a founding partner of Carden Dotzler, PLLC and head the Criminal Defense Practice Group. I concentrate my practice on criminal defense, DWI defense and traffic defense, along with a specialized focus in defending clients who are charged with serious felony offenses. I regularly represent clients who are charged with criminal, DWI and traffic offenses in Onondaga County Court, Syracuse City Court, and other courts throughout Central New York and New York State. I also am the lead attorney for The New York Traffic Ticket Lawyers, which specializes in defending clients who have been accused of traffic infractions, whether that be simple tickets for not wearing seat belts, or more serious offenses like DWI and Reckless Driving.Before entering private practice, I served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office for seven years. There, I successfully prosecuted hundreds of felony-level white collar crimes in the Economic Fraud and Financial Crimes Bureau, including embezzlement, forgery, identity theft, tax evasion, counterfeiting and welfare fraud crimes. I also handled a variety of misdemeanor and traffic-related offenses, including the prosecution of larcenies and drug offenses. At the District Attorney’s Office, I gained valuable trial experience and spent countless hours in the courtroom, working closely with local law enforcement, fellow prosecutors and forensic experts.I earned my Law Degree (J.D.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
