He has also been recognized in the "Legal Elite" list by Virginia Business magazine (2019 - 2024) and the "Virginia Rising Stars" list by Super Lawyers (2013 - 2022), and he has received the Sandra P. Thompson Award from The Virginia Bar Association (VBA) Young Lawyers Division (the VBA YLD's highest honor) for "outstanding work and long-term service". Before becoming an attorney, Andrew worked as a software engineer for a publicly traded healthcare information technology company and owned a website development business for several years. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review and the Managing Board of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law.
