“I have had the opportunity to supervise and collaborate with Ms. Lewis on various matters, including several highly complex cases at the frontiers of science and environmental law. She is a motivated and diligent attorney, and is quick to master new areas of law. In particular, she did an excellent job in a federal lawsuit concerning the spread of chronic wasting disease in the Jackson elk herd within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, which required a deep understanding of disease spread and transmission, applicable scientific literature, and relevant legal principles. She overcame many arguments by the federal government in obtaining a major victory in this case with lasting impacts for public lands and wildlife.”
