He served as a member of Pepperdine Law Review and received awards for achieving the highest grades in Legal Research & Writing I and Mergers & Acquisitions before graduating in 2012.. During law school, Matthew also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert N. Kwan in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and as a law clerk at the California Department of Corporations, the Screen Actors Guild, and in the Appellate Division of the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. Today, Matthew serves as President of the Orange County Lavender Bar Association and resides in Costa Mesa, California.
