She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She went to law school at one of the most prestigious schools on the West Coast, the University of Southern California. While there, she did not wait to garner the experience she needed to best serve you. Rather, she worked in criminal justice clinics, interned in the office of the Los Angeles County Public Defender, externed in Alameda County and was on Moot Court. Qiana won her very first mock jury trial defending an armed robbery defendant. She also worked with real life clients in and out of prison on misdemeanors, felonies, and parole. She learned the system from the inside out.. The San Francisco Public Defender's Office is arguably one of the best defense firms in the United States. She worked there for six and a half years learning all the best defense skills and exercising her talents to the benefit of thousands of people charged with crimes from misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. A long career at various Public Defender Offices has given her the opportunity to work on any and every type of criminal case imaginable..
