Born and raised in Central Florida, John chose to serve his country in the United States Army. After his service, he attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development. Pursuing his interest in the law, John earned his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Wyoming. John has practiced law since 2006 and is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida, Alabama, Colorado, and in the Middle District of Florida’s federal court. John began his legal career as a prosecutor, dedicated to protecting his neighbors and his community. As a well-respected Assistant State Attorney and Assistant District Attorney in Alabama, Colorado, and Florida, John prosecuted felony (violent and non-violent) crimes, capital murder cases, property crimes, white collar crimes, narcotics cases, and misdemeanors. John was also instrumental in coordinating the Veteran’s Treatment Court (a deferred sentencing program for Veteran and Active Duty Service Members).. Since opening his own firm in 2013, John has helped many Central Florida families overcome debt and restore their financial future through the bankruptcy process. As an experienced Estate Planning attorney, he has helped his clients with wills and trusts, providing peace of mind for their families.
