Michelle is a third generation attorney in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  After working for both a small boutique firm and a large national firm, Michelle opened her own practice so that she could get back to doing what she does best: helping people. She believes everyone deserves the best legal representation possible.. Michelle's practice focuses on representing clients injured as a result of medical malpractice, defective products, slip and falls, and other forms of negligence and strict liability.. Michelle is active in the local Broward County Bar Association as well as the Jewish Federation of Broward County.  She has been selected as a Florida Rising Star by SuperLawyers for 2013 and 2014.. Michelle, originally from the Philadelphia area, is the daughter of a physician-attorney and a speech language pathologist.  Michelle earned her Bachelor's degree from The Johns Hopkins University in 2004 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2009.. She chose to go to law school after her next-door neighbors brought a lawsuit against her parents in an attempt to wrongfully claim title to some of her parents' property.  Michelle watched her parents suffer not just because of the frivolous lawsuit, but also because of the excessively high legal fees.  Wanting to help people without taking advantage of them, Michelle pursued a legal career with the hopes of focusing on representing those who had been injured or even killed through the carelessness of others.
