Joseph R. Fazio III was born in Miami, Florida. Mr. Fazio graduated in 1988 from Boston College and received his J.D. in 1994 from Nova University Law School where he served on the Board of the Moot Court Society and was selected to join the Order of Barristers as a National Member. He cultivated strong cultural and language skills during his study of languages at the Universidad Internacional in Santander, Spain, and of European Community Law at the Universidad de Madrid. Mr. Fazio is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), Florida NELA, the Florida Bar Labor and Employment Law Section, the Broward County Bar Association, the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is also a member of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association. Mr. Fazio has lectured and published articles on employment law issues in Florida, and has served on the Florida Advisory Committee for the United States Commission on Civil Rights (1998-2000).
