Mr. Surane was a civil magistrate in Mecklenburg County from 1992 to 1996 and was responsible for adjudicating civil matters involving landlord tenant law which allowed for thorough substantive and procedural understanding of all aspects of landlord tenant matters.. Mr. Surane represents clients in foreclosure, title, and eviction litigation, landlord-tenant matters, business and commercial law, and civil litigation. Mr. Surane has litigated cases not only in Mecklenburg County but also numerous cases in other counties throughout the state of North Carolina. Mr. Surane has successfully defended and obtained settlements and loan modifications on behalf of his clients from several major banks and loan servicers throughout the country.
