His practice spans wrongful death, personal injury, alcohol server liability, fraud, probate matters, criminal defense (including DUI and trafficking), and all types of homicide, including Death Penalty defense. John is deeply engaged in both local and state bar activities.. Locally, he served on the executive committee of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association for over ten years, eventually becoming president in 2022. John was elected Chairman of the ASB’s Solo and Small Firm Section in 2024, supporting Alabama's solo and small firm practitioners.. In 2022, John received the Pro Bono Fairness Award from Legal Services of Alabama and was inducted as a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation and its Atticus Finch Society.
