I am an estate planning and probate attorney, who also works on elder law and special needs issues. I help individuals and families find solutions to issues revolving around wealth and asset transfers, the death of a loved one, special needs planning, and estate and trust administration.. I graduated from the University of Washington magna cum laude, majoring in History and English in 2015 and attended the University of Washington School of Law, obtaining my Juris Doctorate in 2019. After I was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2020, I worked on personal injury, real estate, estate planning, and probate matters. I am also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington and am a member of the King County Bar Association. I am a dedicated and tenacious attorney for the injured.  I work with the rest of the Blue Water team to help injured Longshoremen, boatbuilders and contractors under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and its extensions, such as the Defense Base Act (DBA).  I was pulled into the law (after 7 years working in the banking and technology fields) by these hardworking but injured clients.  I never looked back.. I am a person with many interests and I love to figure out how all things work.  I love researching science and computers.  Believe it or not, I love math and figuring out how facts and statistics can mean many different things.  On the creative side, I enjoy tatting lace, coloring and reading as many books as I can.  My family always joked that I would even read the dictionary.. I am also very close with my large extended family.  Although both sides of my family are from Washington State, I have branches of my family all throughout the United States.  I am beginning a project to record all the family stories from original sources.

Bill Hochberg earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Puget Sound in 1980 and his juris doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law in 1983. Prior to commencing private practice, he was a Washington State Assistant Attorney General for the Labor and Industries and Social and Health Service Divisions.. Bill is licensed to practice before the Washington State Supreme Court, United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the United States 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  He has tried and argued cases before the Superior Courts in the State of Washington, the Washington State Court of Appeals, the Washington State Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the United States 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.. Bill is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King and Snohomish County Bar Associations, American Association for Justice, and the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ, formerly known as WSTLA). Angela is a Seattle estate planning attorney.  Her practice also includes a blend of elder law, disability planning, and probate.  Her clients range from young urban professionals to centenarian retirees.. Before earning her law degree, Angela Macey-Cushman was a nurse, manager, and researcher in the area of aging and long-term care. Alia F. Ahmed is a family and matrimonial law attorney practicing in King and Snohomish Counties. She also has experience addressing International Family Law matters. Ms. Ahmed is a Seattle native who grew up in the South Asian culture. As a result, Ms. Ahmed understands possible cultural implications to family law matters as well.. Ms. Ahmed also previously worked at a large international law firm, Wong Fleming, where she practiced family law for over 8 years.
