Sean Arata was born and raised in Fort Wayne, and is a proud graduate of South Side High School. He attended Indiana University and received a degree in Journalism. He then went on to the University of Oregon to obtain his law degree, where he was the graduation speaker for his class. During law school, he became certified in mediation for the state of Oregon..
