Ted Storer is a civil litigator who tries cases in federal and state courts in Indiana.  Ted has represented numerous clients in jury trials and cases tried to a judge.  Ted has the experience to represent individuals, small businesses and large corporations. He has represented financial institutions in complex collection matters, owners and contractors in construction disputes and businesses in commercial litigation. He has also litigated non-compete cases where the results can significantly impact the businesses and employees subject to the restrictive covenants.. Ted regularly represents clients in human resource matters including harassment and discrimination based on race, age, disability, or gender.  He has assisted clients in resolving disputes over statutory leaves, including the difficult coordination of FMLA, disability and worker’s compensation claims. Ted has tried discrimination cases and represented clients before the EEOC and local employment practice agencies.. Ted’s practice is resolution-focused when possible, but, in those cases where a reasonable resolution is not possible, he has been lead counsel in many jury trials and trials to the bench.. Outside of litigation, Ted also advises clients on other issues related to employment.  He has negotiated and drafted severance packages, and regularly assists employers in creating policies and handbooks to guide their employment practices. Ted has also helped clients by drafting agreements to protect legitimate business interests through restrictive covenants, non-compete agreements and confidentiality and proprietary information contracts.. Ted received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. He then attended the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law where he received his J.D. and graduated with distinction.
