In 2002, in the case of McIlvaine v. WCAB (States), Mr. Quatrini persuaded the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that an over-the-road truck driver who was injured while passing through Pennsylvania was covered by the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act for that injury. The company had argued that the trucking company was headquartered in another state and that the injured worker had to use the workers’ compensation policy from the other state. As a result of this decision, any individual who is hurt while working in Pennsylvania - no matter what state that person lives in or in what state that person was hired - has the protection of the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act.. In 2004, in the case of Coleman v. WCAB (Indiana Hospital), another workers’ compensation case handled by Mr. Quatrini, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court held that an independent medical examination could include a diagnostic test only if the test did not involve more than a minimal risk and was not unreasonably intrusive.. WCAB (Bollman), 951 A.2d 1242 (2008) the Commonwealth Court agreed with Peter’s arguments that a medical provider’s failure to provide medical records as part of procedure to determine if the treatment is reasonable and necessary does not necessarily relieve the insurance company from paying the bills.  The Court adapted Peter’s position that the Judge has jurisdiction  to determine if the proper procedures were followed and if not, why they were not.  The Court also agreed that the Judge has the authority to order a whole new procedure.  This important decision saved many injured workers from getting stuck with medical bills caused by their work injuries.. I've been practicing in Western Pennsylvania since 2000, after my wife brought me north from law school.. I was raised in Newark, Delaware, attending the Univeristy of Delaware.  Prior to college, I worked as a draftsman for a small engineering firm in Newport, Delaware, just outside of Wilmington.  After graduating from college, I worked at Kaplan as an instructor for standardized test preparation.  I taught courses for the SAT, GRE, and LSAT.  I then went to law school at Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia.. While in law school, I did two internships: one with the Public Defender's office in Baltimore, Maryland, and another with the local Public Defender in Virginia.  For each of these I had the opportunity to sit through a murder trial, assisting the Public Defender in the defense.  I also worked as a research assistant to Professor Louise Halper prior to my last year of law school.. Corey graduated from Latrobe High School.  After high school, he attended Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA where he majored in Political Science.  Corey went on to graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and shortly thereafter joined Bononi & Company, P.C.. Corey serves as solicitor for Overly’s Country Christmas.  He is also an active member of the Westmoreland Bar Association and is a member of the Bankruptcy and Family Law subcommittees.  Corey is married to his wife Shannon, who he met in law school.  They live in Murrysville together with their two daughters.

Christina is a lifelong resident of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School with honors in 2010. Christina then went on to the University of Pittsburgh where she majored in Accounting. For each year of her attendance , she was awarded Merit Scholarship for her academic performance. Also, she was awarded the Vincent A. Finoli Scholarship. While maintaining her status on the Dean’s List, Christina found time to tutor other students in various Accounting courses. She also was recommended by multiple teachers to become a Presidential Ambassador, which allowed her to represent the school and the President of the University through her actions. Christina graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Summa Cum Laude, after only three years, with a degree in Accounting in 2013.. While in college, Christina began her journey into the legal profession by completing an internship with Laurel Legal Services, LLC. She assisted two attorneys at the Westmoreland County Courthouse with Protection from Abuse cases. Through this internship she was able to observe courtroom proceedings, complete various legal documents, and communicate with clients.. The summer after Christina graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, she worked on the clerical staff at Stewart, McArdle, Sorice, Whalen, Farrell, Finoli & Cavanaugh, LLC. Through this experience she was able to see the inner workings of a law firm with attorneys and clients.. Christina then began her legal education at Duquesne University School of Law in the fall of 2013. She was awarded the Duquesne University School of Law Merit Scholarship for her academic performance. During her first year of law school, Christina earned a CALI Award in Legal Research & Writing II for her writing skills. She was also awarded the Duquesne Law Alumni Excellence in Writing Award. In Christina’s third year at Duquesne, she was asked by her Legal Research & Writing professor to be her Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research & Writing program. She aided students in various research and writing assignments and assisted the professor with various tasks, including grading assignments and teaching classes. Also in her third year, Christina earned another CALI award in Applied Competencies I, again being recognized for her writing skills. Christina graduated from Duquesne University in 2016 with a Minor Concentration in Energy and Environmental Law.. While in law school, Christina was asked to return to Stewart, McArdle, Sorice, Whalen, Farrell, Finoli & Cavanaugh, LLC. Once her time on the clerical staff was completed, Christina was asked to stay and work as a Law Clerk. She drafted many legal documents, including marriage settlement agreements, divorce complaints, and All-Counts Conference forms. She also prepared and filed Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions. Also during law school, Christina worked as an intern at Sean Cassidy & Associates, PC, where she performed title searches for oil and gas companies.. A few short months after graduating from Duquesne University, Christina was asked to come back to Stewart, McArdle, Sorice, Whalen, Farrell, Finoli & Cavanaugh, LLC to work as an Associate. Now, Christina works with all of the attorneys in many different practice areas, including family law, estates and trusts, business, and real estate.

Brian is married to Liznelia Alicea, who is currently employed by teh Department of Veteran's Affairs in Pittsburgh as a BSN, RN. They have two children, Bradan Padraic Bronson and Brody Quinn Bronson, who are both in elementary school.. Brian's mother and father both worked in the Westmoreland County Public School system as an Administrator and Latin Teacher.. In his spare time Brian enjoys playing tennis and golf, as well as archery, shooting, and hunting. Brian was a three (3) year letterman for the Bucknell University Football Team and is a big supporter of the Bucknell University Athletics Department.

Born and raised on the east side of Pittsburgh, I attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law because Pittsburgh is my home and the community I wish to serve.  I have a general litigation practice because it allows me to serve the most people, the neighbors I bump into on any given day and that come to me with need of legal assistance.  A significant portion of my practice focuses on protecting consumers from unlawful business practices and ensuring that individuals and businesses get the deal they bargained for in contracting with others.

Adam J. Long is the managing partner of Long & Long, LLC and is the son and grandson of Long & Long, LLC co-founders, Wesley T. Long and B. Earnest Long respectively.
