I was a paralegal prior to attending law school, and continued working as a law clerk while pursuing my law degree as a part-time evening student. While in law school I also volunteered at a tenant's rights nonprofit organization and worked as a student attorney at my school’s legal clinic where I served as a guardian ad litem, presented guardianship petitions in court, and helped victims of domestic violence obtain temporary restraining orders.
