REVIEW: "Ms. Vincent was knowledgeable and professional and most certainly worth the investment. She helped us clearly plan a strategy to best move forward from our difficult situation." Darcy.. Avvo requests that I use this section to write personal information about myself that cannot be found in my education and experience section. I will try to hit some highlights of my life before and after becoming a lawyer. My father was a Major General in the Marine Corps, a highly decorated fighter pilot. Sadly he passed away in April, 2015. My mother is a talented artist, golfer, cook, and seamstress. I have two brothers, one an airline Captain based in Boulder City, NV, and the other one is a self-employed Electrician. I was married almost 27 years to a landscape contractor and we operated a landscape construction business together from 1978 to 1991 in California and Oregon. We divorced in 2005. I also operated a Quarter Horse breeding farm in the Colestin area, just south of Mt. Ashland for 10 years with 23 mares and a syndicated stallion named Johnny O'MacQue. Upon the death of the stallion, I went back to college and finished my undergraduate degree in 1991 and then attended University of Oregon School of Law graduating in 1996. I have lived in Medford, Oregon since 1992, and commuted from Medford to Eugene twice a week to attend my last two years of law school. I am a zealous animal lover and have a Maine Coon Cat that adopted me while I was attending a function at the Rogue Valley Country Club in 2011. In 2012, I purchased the most handsome and gorgeous AKC Belgian Tervuren dog and trained him in agility. He's at the top level now and headed towards his MACH, Masters of Agility Champion. I trained and showed him to his AKC obedience title CDX also. In 2014 I purchased another handsome devil, a AKC Belgian Sheepdog who is now trained in agility and will begin his show career this year (2016). I love to care for the landscape at my home and even mow my own lawns. I have many wonderful friends in the Southern Oregon area and Southern California as well (where I lived in my youth). I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). I have a positive attitude and always look for the good in people I meet. I feel very compassionate towards others with health problems, disabilities, the homeless, veterans, and people suffering from loss. Thank you for reading this if you read to the end.
My first mentor was Stanley Jones. I was an associate of and of counsel to the Giacomini, Jones & etc, Klamath Falls law firm for a period of about 20 years. For that firm I tried a number of cases in Klamath Falls and other courts around the state, defending insurance companies against the claims of injured persons.. About 30 years ago I saw the light and since then I have not represented insurance companies, but have only represented injured persons in their claims against insurance companies.. In injury cases, my goal is to get my clients a fair settlement. In some cases a trial or arbitration is necessary to get a resolution.. My Mentor in the area of probate law was Anthony Giacomini, who helped me handle many complicated probates.

Injuries can change your life permanently or temporarily. When people drive drunk, or are careless and they injure another person, something should be done. Insurance companies are supposed to help, but they are not interested in helping the injured person. Insurance companies know how to fight and know how to take advantage of innocent victims of car accidents.. I want to even the playing field. I want to help those who are the innocent injured victims of drunk drivers or careless drivers. I have been beating the insurance companies for 20 years. This has been my specialty for 20 years. I know how to win. Call me for free to talk about your case.. David was appointed as a Pro Tem Judge by the Oregon Supreme Court over 10 years ago. He is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Jackson County Bar Association, the Federal District Courts, and because of his large settlements and some of the largest verdicts in Oregon, he was recently inducted into the Million Dollar and Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Few attorneys in Oregon have obtained jury verdicts as high.
I will provide aggressive representation to help you navigate your case. I have successfully pursued justice for hundreds of victims in personal injury cases. My practice areas include motor vehicle accidents, wrongful deaths, motorcycle accidents, and dog bite injuries.
I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN MEDFORD, OREGON AND LOVE PRACTICING IN THIS LEGAL COMMUNITY. I PRACTICE FAMILY LAW AND SELECTIVE CRIMINAL DEFENSE AND CIVIL LITIGATION. I STRIVE TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE RATES TO MY CLIENTS, AND TO PRESENT A WELL-ORGANIZED, WELL-PREPARED AND STRONG CASE FOR EACH CLIENT.. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ME FOR YOUR LEGAL NEEDS!
I have nearly 20 years of trial experience in Oregon. In that time I have defended at least 6500 criminal cases, many of those were Measure 11 and Murder cases. Family law, bankruptcy and personal injury law are the other areas where I focus: stopping the harassment by creditors, fighting for custody or parental rights (focusing on the best interests of the children), and negotiating fair compensation for injuries sustained at the fault of someone else.. I am dedicated and focused on my client's needs. Together with my amazing team comprised of a paralegal, a legal assistant, and a law clerk, I zealously defend client rights. Pretrial motion work is an area in which I focus - oftentimes these pretrial motions resolve an entire case - if not, negotiating deals or battling it out at trial are areas in which I excel. I will always be real - you get the honest truth from me about your case and the legal options available to resolve it.. Zealous, vigilant, and honorable advocacy you can truly count on.
I counsel businesses in a variety of industries on formation, employment, contractual, and corporate governance issues, as well as acquisitions and stock sale/purchases. I enjoy working with small business owners to identify opportunities and methods to use the law to accomplish their strategic goals. I also represent clients in real property matters, including residential and commercial real property disputes and transactions, including landlord/tenant issues. My practice is not confined to transactional work - I also assist with commercial, employment, real property, and professional liability litigation.
I believe in dedicated, client-driven advocacy. I have aggressively represented well over 1000 clients in Jackson and Josephine Counties since 2009. A career as a trial attorney is exciting and rewarding. Fighting for my clients against any odds and creatively defending cases against the power of the state is my highest priority.. I have tried dozens of cases to a jury, including more than 20 Driving Under the Influence trials. I have argued hundreds of motions and sentencings, appeared thousands of time in Court, handled hundreds of felonies and Measure 11 cases, and negotiated excellent resolutions or dismissals for the great majority of my clients.. In addition to my commitment to my clients and my practice I am a lifelong Oregonian, a passionate gardener and cook, an avid hiker, and a voracious reader.. I will work tirelessly, creatively, and intelligently on any case and any problems that arise in my clients’ lives. I am confident that you will find me to be a pleasure to work with.
