Jeff Brence has broad experience in civil litigation, including construction, employment law, unlawful detainer actions, real estate contract disputes, and litigating probate matters.. Mr. Brence has represented numerous clients including general contractors, subcontractors, real estate developers, and real estate purchasers.  Mr. Brence has experience in law and motion, has drafted several successful summary judgment motions, and has filed briefs in the California Court of Appeals.. Prior to coming to California in 2009, Mr. Brence studied at the University of Colorado and spent his weekends teaching skiing.. Mr. Brence is a member of the San FranciscoCounty and San Mateo County Bar Associations, and is licensed to practice in California.

I am experienced family law attorney who has been practicing over 11 years. I handle client matters from case inception through settlement. I represent clients in public court, the private judging venue and mediation. Prior to joining The Law Offices of Peter G. Loewenstein, I practiced family law at a small boutique family law firm in Alameda after graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law and passing the bar in 2002. I am an active member of the legal community and was board member of the Alameda County Bar Association and a member of the Inns of Court. I was Chair of the Barristers Section of the Alameda County Bar for two years and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for a Barrister from the Alameda County Bar Association for 2007. I am currently on the Family Law Executive Committee of the Alameda County Bar.
