Helping others is why I love the practice of law. As a plaintiff's attorney, I am able to help families who have been involved in catastrophic tradegies and help them through recovery stages and accountabilty for those responsible. Even when not catastrophic, our firm has always helped those injured even if a small accident to achieve resolutuion and to help facilitate medical treatment and fight insurance companies.. During the first years of my practice, I represented insurance companies and some large self-insureds like Wal-Mart and Winn Dixie against injured people in teir families which provided an education in the insurance companie's and adjusters way to defend cases. I realized I wanted to help individuals and their familes, even if it meant taking on large law firms and businesses.. Our firm has always been active in the community and I have a passion for helping and working with displaced children as a Guardian ad litem volunteering on some of the most difficult cases. I also worked as a volunteer atotrneyhelping families of those devestated by the WOrld Trade Center horrors of 9/11 and worked with many of the victim's families in securing rightful benefits. As an attoeny, I have the ability to make a difference while loving what I do.. Our firm handles cases involving automobie accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, trucking accidents, wrongful death and brain inuries. We have helped many over our 30 years working together as a team. We pride ourselves on individual attention to every client and unlike others today, meet and talk to each person ourselves. Our paralegals work as part of the team but Gregg Page and myself work on cases together.. We get referrals from lawyers around the country, doctors, friends, neighbors, fellow Church and synagogue members but most coes from those we have represented in the past and know we will do everything we can to help those in need. We have recieved referrals from clients we represented 30 years ago who send their sons, daughters, and even grandkids . We are here to answer questions and help, often unpaid but to point you in the right direction.. We love practicing law and I have benefitted from each and every client, even if occasionally, the case does not turn out the way you want. We have obtained recoveries well over 10,000,000 and even higher . We want to help

From the first day of his law practice, Ed Normand has specialized in civil trial law. He gained invaluable, early experience in general tort and medical malpractice cases with the late Al Cone, one of the foundational trial lawyers in Florida. In 1991 Butch Wooten offered Ed a position to work at Wooten, Kimbrough and Normand PA where he worked for 23 years. He was elected a shareholder of the firm in 1996. He retired from the Wooten firm as a Partner in 2014 to start his own law firm Normand Law PLLC. He started his own firm to dedicate more time and attention to select cases. He accepts only a few limited cases and only those of a very serious nature.. Ed's trial experience at the firm has qualified him for the honor of being a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar since 1996. He has been named one of The Florida Legal Elite as selected Florida Trend magazine, enjoys an "A.V." (the highest rating) from the respected Martindale-Hubbell and has recently been offered an appointment to the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in the State of Florida by the National Trial Lawyers Association.. During his almost twenty years of prosecuting civil lawsuits, Ed has gained experience in many areas of the law including: product liability, medical negligence, semi-tractor-trailer accidents, defective drug and nursing home abuse cases. Handling these cases has exposed him to virtually every kind of disabling injury including traumatic brain injury, paralysis, spinal cord injury, loss of bodily function, loss of sight, amputation and many others. He has gained a vast knowledge of medicine and understands how disabling some injuries can be as well as how they can destroy families. He has also had the unfortunate benefit of learning to understand a family's grief upon the loss of a loved one due to a defective and dangerous product.. Ed has served his fellow lawyers through membership on the Florida Justice Association of Young Lawyers Board, Orange County Bar Associations, (Medical Chair-Legal Committee), Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association (Past President, Treasurer, Director), American Justice Association. He received his undergraduate from the University of Florida, and having been independent since the age of 15, he proudly attended the University of Texas Law School as recipient of numerous competitive academic scholarships.. One of Ed's greatest attributes is his keen legal mind. He is a former CPA who passed the CPA exam with flying colors on his first sitting. He graduated with high honors from the University of Texas where he was named to the Order of the Coif and served as Clerk of the Chancellors, the highest Academic Honorary Group at the University. He is a MENSA member (limited to the top 2% of I.Q,'s in the nation) and was honored for his high score on the Florida Bar Exam.. Ed has won multimillion dollar recoveries on behalf of his clients but is not afraid to seek justice at any level. He has gone to battle against some of the largest corporations in the world and has litigated extensively on both U.S. and international claims.. Most of all, Ed derives great pleasure from using his mind to right wrongs and do his part to make the world a better and safer place.. Normand PLLC. 62 W. Colonial Drive. Suite 209. Orlando, FL 32801

For the past 28 years, Tony Caggiano has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law. Less than 1% of all Florida lawyers are Board Certified specialists to handle car accident, personal injury and medical malpractice cases. In 1999, he was chosen to serve on The Florida Bar Civil Trial Law Certification Committee. This committee is entrusted with evaluating and testing other lawyers who wish to hold themselves out as specialists in Civil Trial Law. From 2002 through 2004, Mr. Caggiano was honored to serve as Chair of this Florida Bar Committee.. Tony Caggiano is also a member of the invitation only American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Membership in this organization is limited to premiere trial lawyers selected by their peers as outstanding, ethical lawyers.. Tony Caggiano attended Suffolk University Law School in Boston, served as a writer and editor of its Law Journal, and graduated in 1984. He became a member of The Florida Bar in 1984 and The Massachusetts Bar in 1985.. Tony Caggiano has practiced exclusively in civil trial law. After graduation, he began working for an insurance defense law firm in Miami, Florida. In 1987, he decided to use the insight he had gained as an insurance defense lawyer to benefit victims of personal injury and medical malpractice by founding Florida Trial MD with Dr. Walter Ward, a medical doctor and lawyer.. Tony Caggiano spends a considerable amount of time offering free legal services to those less fortunate. He has been recognized by the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and the Dade County Bar Association, receiving the pro bono award for providing free legal work to those in need in the area of general civil law. On behalf of the Orange County Bar Association, he serves as a guardian ad litem for abused, abandoned, and neglected children. He is also actively involved in his community through his church and has served on the school board.. Tony Caggiano considers it a privilege to represent the interests of those who have been injured. All too frequently in our civil justice system, careless companies and individuals try to avoid responsibility for the harm that they cause. Insurance companies, medical associations, and business interests have lobbied our state legislators to strip away people’s rights and to create more challenges for those simply seeking to be treated fairly. Sadly, injured people have also been targeted by outrageous lawyer advertising. Lawyers who are not specialists in personal injury or medical malpractice can advertise for those very cases.. Florida Trial MD, is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, an honor limited to only the most distinguished law practices: those that have achieved an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. “The ‘A’ signifies the highest level of legal ability, while the ‘V’ denotes ‘very high’ adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability, and diligence.” We invite you to use our website to learn more about our law firm, your legal rights, and what we may be able to do for you.

First and foremost, I’m a regular Joe, just like anybody else.I know what it’s like to deal with insurance companies when a loved one is suffering through expensive medical treatments. When I was growing up, my sister battled a serious illness, and my family had to fight constantly to get her the treatment and benefits she deserved.. No stranger to hard work, standing up for those in need, and giving back to the community, I spent over a decade working in and operating group homes for developmentally disabled adults and children before law school.. While attending Florida A & M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida, I proudly served as Business Managing Editor for Law Review and Student President of Stonewall LGBTQA Association. My summers were spent interning for Orange County Public Schools and local personal injury attorneys. Preparing to enter the legal practice in my final year, I clerked with the Office of the Judges of Compensation Claims.. After graduating with honors, I began working with insurance defense firms. It was a great starting place where I gained valuable experience. But, I had enough of the unfairness I saw coming from insurance companies and the ways they treat good everyday people. I made it a point to go out on my own to represent the underdog. People like my sister. People like us. The people who deserve it most.
