I was born in Seattle, Washington. Due to my father’s employment with the United Nations, I grew up living and traveling throughout Africa and Latin America. I earned my undergraduate and graduate degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. where I studied international human rights. I earned my Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2013. During law school, I worked for the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Costa Rica as a law clerk, Columbia Legal Services as a farmworker advocate, and for the American Civil Liberties Union. During my free time, I enjoy photography, traveling, exploring the outdoors, fitness, cooking, and good wine. Growing up a witness to extreme poverty and civil war, I have an enormous passion for social justice and civil rights. I look forward to serving and empowering the Latino community in the Seattle area and beyond.

I was born and raised in Whatcom County, Washington, near the US/Canadian border.   I am a proud partner in Seattle Consumer Justice, P.S., a firm based in Seattle, but I spend a great deal of time in our Bellingham branch office.   We assist consumers and small businesses with bankruptcy, debt settlement, and debt-related consumer rights litigation.. I live in Bellingham, Washington with my wife and daughter.  When I'm not assisting clients, I enjoy fishing our local rivers and streams for salmon, trout and steelhead.
