Even before law school I was dedicated to helping and assisting people in seeking justice. Studying in Norther Ireland formed my early ideas regarding justice and rights. Since law school I have a dedicated track record of serving people as an advocate. My primary interests in law are civil rights litigation, Federal American Indian Law, Civil Litigation and family law. In each situation I am focused on the clients needs and goals and carve out a litigation strategy that will fit each person.

Drew Duncan was born in Parker, South Dakota and graduated Parker High School. From there he went to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and later the University of South Dakota School of Law. He was then a clerk for the 5th circuit judges of South Dakota and later was hired at Zimmer, Duncan & Cole.. In his free time, Drew enjoys the great outdoors with his wife and two children.

Most notably, Beth argued State v. Toben in front of the South Dakota Supreme Court during the October 2013 term. Beth then moved to Sioux Falls and practiced family law for three years before prosecuting abuse and neglect matters at the Minnehaha County State's Attorney's Office. Beth returned to private practice in August 2018 as family law is where her passion lies.. Beth's main area of expertise is adoption, custody and divorce cases. During my time as a prosecutor, I was able to handle a wide variety of cases, ranging from simple traffic tickets to 1st Degree Murder.. I enjoyed my time as a prosecutor as it allowed me to gain invaluable experience in the courtroom, handling approximately 15 jury trials and hundreds of court trials, plea hearings, preliminary hearings, sentencings, and other hearings. I decided to leave that role in 2011 to open a small law practice in Tea, South Dakota. Since that time I have been in private practice and have spent my career helping people through challenging personal times, something I have found very rewarding. I currently work in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, school-related issues, and other general litigation.. My wife and I reside in Tea with our three children. We love the small-town feel of Tea and cherish the great relationships we’ve made in the community. Amanda Engel grew up on a farm near Clark, South Dakota.  After spending several years living in North Dakota, Amanda moved back to South Dakota to continue to develop her legal practice in her home state..
