I have been a practicing attorney in Kansas since 1995. I have extensive experience in family law including divorce, child custody, parenting time, and child support. I have handled more than 300 cases from beginning to end ranging from simple divorces to highly contested custody cases and appeals.. I have been a mediator in both domestic and civil law since 2000 and have mediated over 300 cases primarily concerning divorce and child custody.. Retaining an attorney is an important decision. My goal in representing a client is to make certain the client understands the legal process, the options and rights available to the client, and to be sure the client is comfortable not only with the process but with my representation. I began my criminal law career at the Miami County Attorney’s Office under Elizabeth Sweeney-Reeder. During my time as a prosecutor I worked in Juvenile, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Traffic, Misdemeanor Crimes, Field and Game, DUI, and Felony Failure to Register cases. This broad spectrum allowed me to gain great knowledge of criminal law. After leaving the County Attorney's Office in December of 2017, I then went to work for Cameron & Herrman, P.A, a very well-known firm in Wichita, Kansas. I work zealously to defend the rights of my clients in Criminal, Traffic, DUI, and Family Law.
