Will Harty is the co-founder of Harty Jewell PLLC, where he represents clients in product liability, personal injury, and maritime tort trial litigation, consumer litigation, and appellate practice. I was born into a wonderful consortium of huge Irish, Catholic families on the West Side of Cleveland, Ohio. Although I am the oldest of merely three children, my mom was one of ten, and hers was a relatively small family in that neighborhood. So we were constantly surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins—lots of cousins!. Growing up, we not only knew everybody, but as my best friend would often remark when we went out and I would have to stop to talk to everybody we ran into, we were somehow related to everybody in town!. Having grown up knowing so many people so well, I developed a profound love for people, a desire to serve, and a determination to make it my life’s work to make people’s lives better, however possible. That led me to pursue careers in policy, ministry, and politics, but ultimately to a career in law.. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wellesley College, then my Juris Doctorate in Law, and my Master’s degree in Communications from Regent University.. Upon completing my education, I worked in the nonprofit sector for such organizations as the Flying Hospital International, the Christian Broadcasting Network, Operation Blessing, the Center for Law and Religious Freedom, and the Christian Legal Society, and most recently, before joining Holcomb Law, I served as the Executive Director of The Capitol Hill office of Eagle Forum, and as the director of Eagle Forum’s Political Action Committee.. In addition to my duties with Holcomb Law, I am currently the Executive Director of the Republican National Coalition for Life.. I am thankful to have had such an exciting career, one that allowed me to meet so many remarkable people, and to have so many unique experiences, but I always hoped to have a family of my own. I was very fortunate later in my life to meet and marry Holcomb Law founder, Wayne Holcomb, a retired Navy pilot turned attorney (my Harmon Rabb!). He was well worth the wait, and, as if that weren’t enough, he came with a bonus, three of the most beautiful, kind, exceptional children I have ever met, Chandler, Camden, and Katie.. I’m honored to work with Wayne and the extraordinary Holcomb Law team to help Hampton Roads families navigate the often difficult and challenging paths that lead them to need to seek our services. I started working in geriatrics when I was 18 years old. I began as an activities coordinator at an assisted living facility and later received my certified nursing assistant license. These credentials landed me several jobs in hospitals and care communities while I attended college and law school. When deciding what area to practice after law school, elder law was the natural choice.. To me, elder law is all about family. It is everything you might do to prepare yourself and your family for a time when you are incapacitated or deceased. These are sensitive, personal decisions that need to be met with compassion and understanding. If illness or death has already occurred, I focus my efforts on protecting your assets and administering your estate as smoothly and quickly as possible. I find this work both intellectually and emotionally satisfying.. When I’m not at the office, I’m busy being “Mom.” With three little kids, life at the Kahl Residence is never boring. Some of our favorite activities include riding bikes, hosting backyard cookouts, and serving our church family. We work hard and we play hard. I have been blessed with many good things in my life, and my goal to help you take care of the good things in yours.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Denver and my Juris Doctorate degree from the Appalachian School of Law. I have practiced law in Virginia since 2008 and have represented clients in cases involving divorce, custody, child support, protective orders, evictions, third-party debt collectors, personal injury, estate litigation, estate planning, guardianships, conservatorships, and other civil matters.. I have been with The Heritage Law Group since 2015 and currently focus my practice on estate planning, guardianships, conservatorships, fiduciary services (acting as Trustee or Power of Attorney), and litigation. I am an active member of the Virginia Peninsula Estate Planning Council and the I’Anson Hoffman American Inn of Court. I am proud to have been a part of changing Virginia guardianship law and was honored to speak in front of the Virginia General Assembly in support of the change.. I have lived all over the country, but for the last 10 years I have been a resident of the peninsula. My family and I enjoy swimming, boating, camping, all sports, and spending time with loved ones. I have been a Denver Broncos fan since childhood, and a Virginia Cavalier fan by marriage.. Hi, my name is Nora and I am very excited to be a part of the Holcomb Law team!. I am a native of the great state of Pennsylvania, but Hampton Roads has been my home for most of my adult life. I graduated from high school right here in Newport News before going off to serve in the United States Marine Corps. I knew even then that I had a passion for helping others and I knew I wanted to be a lawyer.. I am an alumna of the University of North Carolina, at Wilmington and Regent University School of Law. Since graduating from law school, I have primarily practiced criminal law and family law throughout South-Eastern Virginia. My path has led me from operating a solo law practice, to working as a public defender, a prosecutor, and I’ve even been an attorney at Legal Aid.. Although I’m experienced in many areas of law, I’ve always felt especially connected to clients who are dealing with the stress of divorce and custody. I know it’s a difficult process and one in which people often feel alone. I believe an important part of what I do involves walking through this process alongside my clients and being their voice when they are most vulnerable.. When I’m not here at Holcomb Law, I’m usually gardening and hanging out with my plant babies! Otherwise, you’ll find me at local arts festivals or spending time with family and friends.

While at Carolina, she also worked on the staff of the Graduate Student Attorney General, and was a member of Carolina Women in Law and the Christian Legal Society.. Jane Smart Hansch graduated suma cum laude with Honors from Salem College with her B.A. degrees in International Relations and Spanish. She received the President’s Prize for International Relations along with Departmental Honors in Spanish. Mrs. Hansch was also the first student in the history of Salem College to receive the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for showing remarkable character and integrity, and by demonstrating a commitment to serving others.. Shaped by a passion for experiential learning, Mrs. Hansch was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to La Plata, Argentina in 2006 and later spent a year working as a Christian campus minister in Beirut, Lebanon. Mrs. Hansch currently lives in Hampton, Virginia with her wonderful husband, Davy.  They are active members of Crossroads Community Church in Yorktown and participate in a weekly couples’ Bible study at First Baptist Church in Newport News.
