Reynaldo P. Morin (Rey) has been practicing law since 1994. In April 2000, Mr. Morin began working for the Department of Justice, as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) with the Eastern District of Texas. As an AUSA, Mr. Morin prosecuted complex and sophisticated cases that involved drug offenses, immigration cases, and violent crimes like bank robberies, firearms violations, and gang cases. He also prosecuted white collar crimes like bank, wire, and mail fraud.. While working for the Department of Justice, Mr. Morin received training that dealt with forensics in criminal matters, organized crime violations, how to conduct financial investigations, violent crime investigations, and how to work with cooperators and confidential informants. Mr. Morin was also trained on evidence for criminal litigators, courtroom presentation and evidence management.
