Prior to joining the firm, Jon attended Brigham Young University, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in business. He also worked as a senior fiscal analyst for the Arizona State Legislature’s Joint Legislative Budget Committee and advised state legislators on budget related issues for the Arizona Judicial Branch, and various other state agencies. Jon received his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and has over 10 years’ experience working as a family law attorney.

Melissa has lived in Mesa, Arizona for nearly 40 years. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Melissa was a paralegal for 14 years in Mesa and Phoenix.  She has extensive experience in civil litigation, particularly insurance defense, medical malpractice and personal injury.. During law school she was a law clerk at a Phoenix Law firm working in the areas of personal injury and commercial litigation.  She was also a legal extern at Legal Aid of Arizona working primarily in landlord/tenant disputes..
