I have lived in the Houston, Texas area for over 26 years.  I graduated from law school at University of Houston Law Center and never left.  I am now married and have two children of my own.  I enjoy practicing in the area of family law as it involves helping people who need help navigating some very difficult waters.  I try to make this very stressful time a little less difficult.

I grew up in the great metropolis of Granger, Texas. After graduating from Granger Independent School I attended Texas Tech University where I earned a bachelors of science in Human Development and Family Studies. After earning my undergraduate degree I attended the Texas Tech University School of Law and received my Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2009. I passed the Texas Bar Exam and was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas the very same year. I have focused my practice on Family Law ever since.. I am very dedicated to my work and believe that each of my client's concerns are very important. I do my best to personally understand my clients issues and be available for them. I believe that is crucial not only to represent their best interest but to also be a support for them through the hard times. I am married and habe two precious little girls so family and children mean the world to me. I use that drive to help as many people and families as I can.

Not long after moving to Austin, Jeffrey met Rick Cofer and the two co-counseled on many cases. A former United States Marine, Ms. Hartley has served in every possible position with a law firm, from receptionist/file clerk to law clerk and research attorney, to litigation attorney. While attending law school, Ms. Hartley was employed by a local long-time family law firm. Ms. Hartley graduated with High Honors from Ventura College of Law and was soon thereafter hired by another premier firm as an associate attorney where she remained until opening her own firm in 2009.. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California in Santa Cruz, in the area of Language Studies.  I graduated from the University of Santa Clara with a Juris Doctor in 1998.  Graduating in the top 35% of my class, I received the American Jurisprudence award in Contracts.   Even in law school, I represented Family Law clients as a member of the Family Law Clinic.  I represented criminal clients in court as a certified law student and was a member of the criminal law mute court.. Upon graduation, I joined a conflict Public Defender’s office where I represented parents involved with the Child Protective Services as well as criminal defendants.  I was admitted in the California Bar in 1999 and opened my own practice in October 2001 where I continued to practice Juvenile Dependency, Criminal Law and Family Law in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and Monterey counties.. I relocated to Riverside county in 2005 and opened my own office where I was a partner and co-owner.  I continually expanded my Family Law practice while continuing to represent clients in the areas of Juvenile Dependency, Criminal Law, Adoption and Guardianship.
