I love to be outside all of the time!  I relax by playing tennis, gardening and taking "road trips" as a family.  My christian faith has blessed me to be able to serve others and be blessed while doing it -whether it's in my church or community.

Education Law is a very specialized area of law.  My focus for the last 15 years has been Education Law.  In addition to Education Law, my other practice areas are Employment Law, Criminal Defense, and Guardianships.

Michele's practice is devoted exclusively to family law at the district court and appellate court levels. She focuses on creative, respectful, realistic, and cost-effective solutions that will allow parties to move ahead as healthy individuals, confident in their children's well-being and financial security. Michele graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2002 and served three years as a Judicial Law Clerk in Hennepin County Family Court. She is trained in collaborative law and as a mediator and arbitrator under Rule 114.  Michele was admitted to practice law in Minnesota in 2002, Wisconsin in 2003, and before the U.S. District Court-District of Minnesota in 2003.  She was an Adjunct Representation Professor at William Mitchell College of Law and has been recognized as one of Minnesota's Rising Stars.

Rick is active in bar association leadership, pro bono and volunteer representation, and legal aid clinics. He frequently speaks at area schools to promote civic and legal education.
