I joined Zimmer Family Law in May of 2016. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. In 2015, I received concurrent Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD.. While at the University of South Dakota, I spent my time participating on the Moot Court Board, Trial Team, writing for different publications, and working as a Graduate Assistant. I also clerked during law school at the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of Iowa in Sioux City, Iowa, as well as the Environmental Law and Policy Center in Chicago, Illinois.. After graduating law school, I decided to head west to launch my career here in Portland, with an emphasis in family law. Gina Marie Stewart grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she worked with adjudicated and at-risk teens as a case manager prior to going to law school in Portland, Oregon. I graduated with B.A.'s in Political Science, History, and Spanish from the University of Idaho in 2004. Following law school, I returned to the Treasure Valley where I spent four years with the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.. In 2013, I began her criminal defense and family law career.. I was raised in southwestern Idaho on a dairy farm, I grew up picking rock, hauling hay, feeding calves, and milking cows.  I learned about hard work and dedication at a young age, which has carried over to my legal career. I now resides in Boise with my beautiful family who love to camp, raft, snowboard, watch and play sports. I recently retired from roller derby and now I coach a middle school volleyball team, as well as, play both co-ed and women's recreation volleyball.

Ashley B. Sexton earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011 and her J.D. in 2015 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law.  Determined in her pursuit to become an advocate, Ashley became very involved with Eastern Kentucky University’s mock trial competition team. Ashley’s trial team earned a bid for the National Championship Tournament. Only 48 teams nationwide — less than 10 percent of those in the country — qualified for the National Championship Tournament. The EKU team was the only one from Kentucky to remain in the national competition, joining the elites of Columbia University, Princeton University, New York University, and the like. Due to her involvement with Eastern Kentucky’s mock trial team, Ashley received the Robert Sanders Excellence in Advocacy scholarship from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While in law school, Ashley interned with the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office and for Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge Allison Emerson Jones. Ashley is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
