When doing real estate litigation, clients ask me if I am a "pit bull". My answer is that in circumstances in which it furthers my clients' interests, I am the most tenacious and zealous advocate they could have possibly hired to protect their interests. I have sent many pit-bull lawyers home with their tails between their legs after out-finessing them while ignoring their juvenile and unprofessional antics.. I was very active growing up and played soccer, basketball and tennis.  I also water and snow skied.  These activities continued as an adult to some extent until I had to have 3 surgeries on my knees and finally a replacement (5/12/21).  I will also have the other one replaced this year and should be able to pick up where I left off several years ago.  My passion is soccer and I led my men's soccer team into the premier league to play against ex-pros.  While that leval of play was short-lived, I was able to "sweep" (last guy back except the keeper) for the former Turkish National and World Cup keeper.  I have also attended the World Cups in Germany (2006) and Brazil (2014) and was hosted by the Sounder's owner in Germany.  Another leisure activity I partake in is playing music.  I play the alto saxophone and  currently play in the West Seattle Big Band (24 years) and a saxophone quartet.  While I am an average player, I was able to take lessons from local legend, Johny Jesson, whose instructed Kenny G. I started practicing law in 2009 and, being a big music fan, out of law school I worked at Capitol Records in Los Angeles where I drafted and negotiated contracts for bands of the record company, putting their music in TV shows, film, commercials and video games. Some of the projects I worked on include Nike commercials, the films Inception and Scott Pilgrim v. The World, as well as video games Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero.. After living in Los Angeles I moved to Denver, Colorado where I worked for a national law firm in the Energy and Natural Resources practice. In Denver my practice focused on complex real estate and business transactions for Fortune 100 clients, primarily in the energy sector. During this time I was fortunate enough to lead teams of up to ten people in the due diligence phase of acquisitions of assets valued up to $6.5 billion.. Working for a larger firm provided a lot of great experience I would not have been able to get anywhere else, but in 2017 I decided to move back to my home state of Washington to start Moultray & McMahon with Josh. In making that move I pivoted my practice from advising big corporate clients to advising individuals and small businesses with their real estate and business needs. My clientele now primarily consists of real estate investors and home buyers/sellers looking to cut out broker commissions when buying and selling properties, as well as small businesses who are just getting up and running. Chandra is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Texas School of Law.  Chandra first became interested in estate planning while watching family members struggle to manage the affairs of loved ones with dementia.
