I was born and raised in Newport News. I attended grade school at Hampton Institute-now known as Hampton University-middle school in Newport News public schools, and high school at Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News. Upon admission to the Virginia State Bar, I practiced with the largest and oldest firm on the Virginia Peninsula. On June 1, 2001, I opened my sole practice, which has grown into the current firm.
