Edward J. Lentz is President of the Firm and Chair of the Firm’s Estate Planning and Administration group. He has worked extensively in the charitable area, the closely-held business area, the estate tax, gift tax and generation-skipping tax areas and other complex estate planning areas, including the use of GRATS, Family Partnerships, Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts, and Qualified Personal Residence Trusts.

I am the third generation of Noonans to practice at our family firm.  My grandfather began the practice, which now includes my father, mother, aunt, and myself.

Former U.S. Navy Flight Officer, Penn State graduate, SAE Fraternity, member Asbury United Methodist Church, 37 years experience, married 44 years. Admitted Lehigh County Court, U.S. Supreme Court, Navy Veteran.

I am passionate about serving others. After careers in the military and federal government, I pursued a law degree while working as a senior consultant to the federal government.. My daughter, Ashley, is a special needs person and has been a great influence in my life. As Ashley grew older, it became apparent that my wife and I would need to carefully plan for Ashley’s future. Like many parents, we had no idea where to start and fumbled our way through the system. That experience played a large part in my decision to practice law and help families with their estate planning and other legal needs.. We first moved to Prince William County in 1997 and are proud to call Dale City our home.. I graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to the mandatory coursework, I focused my studies on Arbitration Law, Elder Law, Estates and Trusts, Family Mediation, and Bankruptcy Law.
