Mr. Brown was raised in Maynard, Massachusetts and attended Northeastern University where he played football and the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana where he played and captained the University of Montana Rugby Team.. After graduating from the University of Montana, he attended law school at California Western School of Law in San Diego, distinguishing himself in trial work courses.. He began his career with the North Carolina Public Defenders Office, working out of Gastonia, North Carolina representing persons charged with anything from juvenile offenses to death penalty murders.. Following his service with the Public Defenders’ Office, he relocated to his native New England, becoming employed with the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office where he tried many jury trials involving felonies, DWI and other misdemeanor offenses..
