Nicole graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing. She then earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. After law school, Nicole practiced insurance defense and general litigation before turning her focus to family law.
