I grew up in Vale, Oregon. I went to school at University of Oregon where I became a Duck and recieved my bachelor's degree in Psychology. After college, I worked for three years as a residential counselor working with adjudicated youth with alcohol or drug addiction. I went to law school at Lewis & Clark. I recieved first place for best trial notebook and 2nd place for our Mock Trial Intraschool Competition.. I work mostly in family law. I enjoy working with modest means clients and clients who have limited funds. I love representing clients who otherwise might go without representation simply because they cannot afford a lawyer. I have a certificate in public interest law and hope to be a force for postive changes in the law and our community.

Mitch May is a family law and civil litigation attorney with an active real estate practice.  An experienced Family Court attorney, he provides clients with zealous representation in areas of divorce, custody, child support, property division, alimony, and Protection From Abuse (PFA) proceedings.  Mitch maintains an active real estate practice providing experienced representation for clients purchasing and refinancing their homes or commercial properties throughout the state.  Mitch also maintains a general law practice including the areas of wills, trusts and estates, land use, and bankruptcy.. Admitted to the bar in Delaware and Virginina in 2002, Mitch earned his bachelor's degree from The George Washington University.  While at George Washington, Mitch played varsity baseball and interned with the United States Secret Service.  Mitch received his Juris Doctorate from The Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.  Prior to founding of his law firm, Mitch was an associate at the Dover law firm of Street & Ellis.  Mitch is also a former law clerk to the Court of Common Pleas in Kent and Sussex Counties.  Mitch was previously apppinted by the Delaware Family Court to serve as the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) from 2003 to 2006.. Mtich resides in Kent County, Delaware with his wife and four children.  He is active in Holy Cross Church.  Mitch is currently a vice-president of the Delaware State Bar Association and was president of the Kent County Bar Assoication for the 2012-13 term.  He is member of the Delaware State Bar Association, Kent County Bar Association and American Bar Association.

I am a shareholder in the firm of McGrann Shea Carnival Straughn & Lamb, Chartered, and have practiced exclusively in family law for over 30 years.  I am one of only two Minnesota Diplomates of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers (membership obtained by invitation only, and limited to 100 of the top family law trial lawyers in the country) and am one of only six lawyers in Minnesota certified Family Law Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. I have a bachelor's degree in child psychology, and specialize not only in custody litigation but also in hight net worth estates with complex dissolution issues, including business valuation, real estate valuation, non-marital tracing, hidden and dissipated assets, spousal maintenance and child support.  I have successfully challenged and circumvented unfair antenuptial agreements, have argued in favor of substantively fair antenuptial agreements and have drafted antenuptial agreements which can withstand challenge.  I am also an experienced advocate of victims of domestic abuse, and served on the board of directors of Cornerstone Advocacy Service from 2002 through 2010.  I have extensive appellate experience, and have participated in some 80 appeals during my career, successfully arguing cases both in the Minnesota Court of Appeals as well as in the Minnesota Supreme Court.  I am a fellow of both the American and International Academies of Matrimonial Lawyers.   I served as Administrative Vice President of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers from 2009 to 2012 and currently serve as the National Delegate to the Board of Governors.  I was the 2002-2003 co-chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association Family Law section.  I have lectured on various family law topics, and also mediate family law cases.

Joshua Nyberg is a native of Fargo, North Dakota, and he graduated from North Dakota State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Political Science. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, NE. While at Creighton, he was a member of one of the national criminal mock trial teams, and was a finalist in national competition. He graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 2011 with a concentration in litigation.. Following law school, he worked as an attorney in Omaha. In January 2013, he returned to Fargo, and joined Johnson Law Office, P.C. as an associate attorney. While at Johnson Law Office, P.C., he litigated several matters in the district courts of North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as the North Dakota Supreme Court.. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing golf.

My professional life became transformed when I learned about Collaborative Practice.  I realized that rather than being part of a system that often further damages family relationships, I could be part of a restorative system.  The Collaborative process helps couples and families transition to their new configuration and pays attention to family relationships by creating enduring and lasting agreements that work for both parties and their children.  My practice is focused primarily on Collaborative family law, mediation, and cooperative settlement, as well as estate planning and appellate work.  I provide a one hour consultation at no cost, often with both parties, to discuss their options and inform them about the value of using the Collaborative process.

Michael J. Cicala earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2003. Upon completion of Seton Hall, Mr. Cicala served a judicial clerkship with Daniel P. Mecca, P.J.S.C. in Bergen County for the 2003 - 2004 court year. Mr. Cicala soon joined the boutique firm of Sodini and Spina, primarily representing banking clients. He then proceeded to Wilson Elser in Newark, continuing to represent commercial clients in all aspects of their business.. After a number of years and seeking to diversify his practice, Mr. Cicala started his own firm. In starting that practice, Mr. Cicala sought to represent clients on a wider variety of issues and give each client the individual attention that is lacking at larger firms. Mr. Cicala has gained experience in litigating all aspects of family matters, commercial litigation, landlord / tenant issues, municipal court, and traffic matters. He has also developed experience in transactional work, including residential real estate closings and estate planning.. Mr. Cicala is a member of the Warren County Bar Association and is currently an adjunct professor of Legal Studies at Sussex County Community College.

Emily was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2015 and began practicing in Fort Wayne. Emily started as a staff attorney for the Department of Child Services before moving to private practice. As an associate attorney at Shilts & Setlak, LLC, Emily centered her practice on family law. These matters included dissolution and post-dissolution matters, paternity, child support, and parenting time. From there, Emily switched gears, digging into estate planning and estate administration. Emily has since returned to family law, ready to assist you in all your domestic relations needs.. Outside of the office, you can find Emily spending time with her family. Emily was born and raised in Fort Wayne, and much of her extended family resides here. She knew she wanted to return to her hometown to practice law and give back to the community that has given her so much.
