After earning my B.A. in Political Science at the University of California, Davis, I went on to study law at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. My emphasis in Law School was the study of family law. This emphasis required specialized classes and even volunteer work. I spent much of my free time pouring over discovery at a local law firm which also specialized in the practice of family law. Following graduation, I continued to show a strong interest in this area of law. I started my own family law practice in 2011 and was hired on as an associate with Herrig & Vogt in 2013.. Family law often involves very serious and very personal legal issues. I give every client the respect they deserve and endeavor to help them delicately resolve issues that often involve the strongest of emotions created by hurt feelings and broken promises. Recognizing how stressful these situations can be, I make it my goal to make the process as peaceful and simple as possible, encouraging litigation only when the other side is being cruel or unreasonable.. Practicing family law requires that the practitioner constantly educate him or herself on the ever-changing patchwork that makes up the family law field. Dixie was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and attended college at Penn State University, where she was a member of many on-campus organizations, including Sigma Kappa sorority. She came to New Orleans to attend Loyola University College of Law, and upon graduation, could not bring herself to leave. Dixie is now a happy resident of Uptown, New Orleans, where she lives with her hound dog, Boone. She is a member of the American Bar Association, and Jefferson Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, and Louisiana Bar Association – Family Law Section.

Sarah graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 2002. While attending law school, she completed a two-year clerkship for the local district attorney's office. Upon graduation, she was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richard J. Thorpe in Snohomish County before she joined the litigation firm, Cogdill Nichols Rein Wartell. In 2006 she relocated to North Kitsap County and opened her own office in Poulsbo. She spent her childhood on Bainbridge Island and is happy to raise her own family and practice law here.When Sarah is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and gardening.

Joseph A. Cervantez is a Graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law. Joseph had the privilege of beginning his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Williamson County State’s Attorney’s Office where he gained valuable court room experience prosecuting offenses ranging from traffic violations to class X felonies. He continued his work with the Saline County State’s Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney handling the busy Juvenile Docket..
