The Eggleston Law Firm, PC, was founded by the husband-and-wife team of Bryan and Janice Eggleston. The pair met at the Texas A&M School of Law, formerly Texas Wesleyan School of Law, in Fort Worth, Texas.. The two were involved in the school’s Innocence Project, which examined actual innocence claims and post-conviction litigation actions. Together, they are parents to two sons.. During her time at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Kristin served as an extern for Colorado Legal Services Family Violence Unit in which she gained valuable experience assisting victims of domestic violence. In addition, Kristin practiced as a student attorney in the Sturm College of Law Civil Litigation Clinic where she represented victims of domestic violence in permanent protection order hearings, divorce proceedings, and allocation of parental responsibilities proceedings. Kristin also has experience as an expert, as she worked as a Guardian Ad Litem in civil protection order cases.. Before becoming an attorney, Kristin worked as a law clerk at a well-known Denver family law firm in which she gained valuable experience relating to complicated domestic relations cases. Before moving back to her home state Texas, Kristin worked as an attorney at the largest domestic relations firm in Colorado, handling complex property, custody, and support matters. Kristin has a wide breadth of experience in family law matters, including complex military issues, non-traditional families, high net-worth matters, and domestic violence.. In 1997 graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. degree in Anthropology. After college, I spent many years working and volunteering as a community advocate for the disadvantaged. This work inspired my decision to attend the University of Washington School of Law and I received a Juris Doctor degree in 2003. I worked for the Whatcom County Public Defender before going into private practice.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Maryville University - St. Louis, law school took Sara Marler to Boston. She attended New England University Law School, where she graduated cum laude and Top 10% of her class. It was Sara's sense of hometown and community that brought her back to Southeast Missouri. A respected attorney once told her "Caring makes this job hard, but caring is what makes you good at what you do," and she's kept those impactful words with her over the last 15 years of her career. I am an experienced litigator who has been practicing law since 2005 concentrating in the areas of family law and civil litigation. Since 2012, I have exclusively practiced in the area of family law. I have handled hundreds of uncontested and contested family law cases, including pre-decree and post-decree divorce cases, child support enforcement, paternity and parenting time matters, custody and removal cases, and orders of protection.
