Hi there. My name is C. Carter Allen. Some of you may be familiar with me as I graduated locally from Regent University School of Law in 2008 and have been in practice in the Hampton Roads area ever since. Now, after 10 years of successfully flying solo, I have been welcomed to the Holcomb Law team.. I grew up in the heartland of America, in the state of Iowa, but have called Hampton Roads home since Thanksgiving Day of 1992. I currently live in Hampton with my wife, Jessica, two dogs (260 pounds worth!!), and three odd cats. I have three sons (Kyler, Sean, and Austin) and one daughter (Kayla); all but one has flown the coop; on to bright futures.. How did an Iowa boy find his way out East? The United States Marine Corps sent me here by way of sunny southern California, and I simply refused to leave! I was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps in the Infantry and Security Forces, and I like to put that initiative, drive, and leadership ability to work for our clients every day.

As founder of the Law Office of Leila J. Wons, P.C., I focus primarily on domestic relations matters, including divorce, child custody and support, paternity, modifications of prior and foreign judgments, contempts, same-sex family law matters, mediation, collaborative law and restraining order hearings.. In December 2010, I was fortunate enough to assist in the preparation of and sit second-chair at the oral argument of Smith v. McDonald,  a paternity and removal case argued before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.. I am an active member of the Worcester County Bar Association, volunteering my time as an Attorney Representing Children, and Guardian ad Litem. As a trained Mediator and Collaborative Law practitioner, I also provide clients with information relating to Alternative Dispute Resolution so that they may find ways to resolve their family law conflicts outside of contested litigation.

Jessica Hall obtained her law degree from John Marshall Law School in 2010. She started her career as a staff attorney to the State Court judges of Cherokee County, and then later became a solo practitioner.. Jessica’s passion for family law began after witnessing the heartache her brother experienced.  At the time, he was a young single dad.  He fought for his right to see his young daughter through the Court system for over a year.  While he finally won his case, Jessica felt that battle he endured was a travesty for him and his daughter.  As a solo practitioner, she found herself fighting for families even while she was handling criminal cases.  She would help her clients resolve their criminal matters so they could be better family members.. She found it rewarding to help families and individuals work out their problems so they can be the best parents for their children.  As she began to approach every case this way, she also became acutely aware of the emotions and battles her clients navigate.  As her courtroom skills and litigation experience grew, so did her talents to help resolve tough family law matters.. Jessica chose Meriwether and Tharp, LLC because of their holistic, resolution-focused approach to family law, and the firm’s desire to better serve their client’s ultimate goals and needs. Connor Moore is a people-oriented and results-driven family law attorney born and raised in Mesa, Arizona motivated by a passion for advocating for people in emotionally difficult and complex situations.. After graduating with honors from Mesa Preparatory Academy, Connor attended the University of Arizona where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in law and was included on the Dean’s List for his academic achievements. Connor also volunteered in several leadership roles with a large international organization.. Connor attended Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis where he made an impact within his first year by serving at a legal aid clinic providing services to indigent clients as well as being elected as president at an established organization at his law school. Connor was later asked to conduct legal research and writing for one of his professors to assist in his drafting of scholarly articles and books on a variety of topics. Connor was selected as a legal intern for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and tasked with drafting memos of fact and law for utilization during official Congressional visits.. After graduating from law school and passing the bar exam, Connor worked at a local civil litigation firm specializing in elder abuse cases classified as complex, tier 3 litigation in Arizona. At this firm, Connor was part of a compassionate, client-centered team that endeavored to secure hundreds of thousands of dollars for their clients through their devotion and experience.. Connor’s legal career has been primarily in the area of family law. He seeks to give honest, clear advice and options at a time when a person might feel hopeless and defeated. Whether through negotiating a settlement or litigating at trial, Connor provides confident and detail-oriented representation in all types of family law matters in order to achieve the best results possible for his clients.. Joe was born and raised in La Crosse, Wisconsin and attended Aquinas High school.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from St. John’s University and has been serving the La Crosse, Wisconsin area since 1992.
