I have been practicing law since 2007 and practice primarily in the areas of probate and estates, creditors' rights, commercial landlord-tenant law, small business law, and real estate law. I spent the first 12 years of my career as an attorney with the respected Wilson County firm of Lee & Lee Attorneys and in 2020 became a partner of Mount Juliet Legal, PLLC.. During law school I worked as a real property title searcher and recieved an irreplacable hands-on education in the areas of real property and title law which I still put to use today. I received an undergraduate degree in public relations from Middle Tennessee State University and my J.D. from Nashville School of Law.. I am originally from Mount Juliet, Tennessee and am a 1996 graduate of Mount Juliet High School. My wife, Stephanie (who is also an attorney), and I currently live in Mount Juliet with our son who is an avid fisherman and golfer.. I am a past president of the Bar Association of the 15th Judicial District of Tennessee, a member of the board of directors for the Wilson County Fair, a member of the Mount Juilet Breakfast Rotary Club, and a 2019 graduate of Leadership Wilson.

Tim is a Des Moines native who has practiced law in the area for more than 40 years. His practices centers on probate, estate planning, income taxation and real estate. Tim joined Dickinson Law in November of 2016.

Mr. Bergkamp joined Hinkle Law Firm LLC in June of 2013.  As an associate attorney, he is a member of the trusts and estates practice group.. Jordan was raised outside of Garden Plain, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters of Accountancy. After obtaining a CPA license and practicing tax accounting at a Big Four accounting firm, Jordan was awarded the Shook, Hardy & Bacon Law Review Scholarship to continue his education at the University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school he focused his course selection on estate, business, and tax planning courses.

I concentrate my practice in the areas of probate, elder law and tax and estate planning.  My primary area of practice is in the drafting and implementation of estate plans ranging from drafting simple Wills and counseling clients on how assets pass at death to drafting, funding and implementing complex Trusts for estate and gift tax reduction. I am a candidate for my LL.M. in Tax at the University of Florida which I expect to complete in the Spring of 2025. I am one of 26 attorneys in Tennessee certified as a specialist in Estate Planning Law (as of January, 2024).. I am the Chair of the Trust Committee and Vice-Chair for the Trust Legislative Committee for the Tennessee Bankers Association. The Trust Legislative Committee is responsible for modernizing Tennessee's Trust laws.. I am a member of the Executive Committee for the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Trust and Trust Legislative Committees for the Tennessee Bankers' Association and the Estate Planning Council of Middle Tennessee.. Prior to moving to Murfreesboro, I was a partner with the law firm Williams McDaniel, PLLC, a boutique estate planning and trust administration law firm in Memphis, Tennessee. I have served by appointment of the Shelby County Probate Court as Successor Trustee, Guardian ad Litem and Attorney ad Litem in complicated Conservatorship cases and as an Administrator in a contested probate administration. I have also substituted as professor for a Trust Law class at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law.

In such cases, I serve as legal counsel to beneficiaries or other parties involved in mediation or another dispute resolution process within which agreement is sought, often under Washington’s TEDRA (Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act) law. My practice also includes serving as a mediator for trust and estate litigation cases and as a facilitator for family meetings.
